Accessibility on byggkomposit.se

Our work to make the website usable for more people.

We work to make byggkomposit.se usable for as many people as possible, regardless of technology, device or individual circumstances.

Our aim is for the central content and functions of the website to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA wherever this is practically possible.

1. Measures in the design of the website

The website has been built with, among other things:

  • semantic HTML
  • a structured heading hierarchy
  • keyboard access to central functions
  • visible focus indication
  • text alternatives for images that carry information
  • associated labels in forms
  • text-based error messages
  • responsive layout
  • support for mobile, tablet and desktop
  • the ability to manage cookie choices using a keyboard

These functions are checked on an ongoing basis, but the website has not yet undergone a full external accessibility audit.

2. Known limitations

We are aware that some parts may have limitations:

  • technical tables may require horizontal scrolling on small screens
  • PDF files and documents from external manufacturers are not always fully accessible
  • complex product illustrations may need supplementary descriptions

3. PDFs and external documents

We aim to make our own future PDF documents as accessible as possible. Documents from manufacturers and other external parties may have limitations that Byggkomposit cannot fully influence.

Key information is therefore presented in HTML on the website wherever possible. Contact us if you need help accessing a document or would like the information in another format.

4. Legal status

Byggkomposit is a private company and the website is aimed mainly at professional customers. The website does not currently offer e-commerce to consumers.

Our current assessment is therefore that the website is not covered by the Swedish Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services. We nevertheless treat accessibility as part of the quality and usability of the website.

If the services, audiences or legal circumstances of the website change, this assessment will be reviewed.

5. Report an accessibility problem

Are you experiencing an accessibility problem or do you need content in another format?

Contact us or call +46 (0)13-17 77 88 and tell us:

  • which page or document it concerns
  • the problem you are experiencing
  • which device or assistive technology you use, if you wish to state it
  • how we can contact you

We will get back to you and look for a practical solution as soon as we can.
