GRP (glass fibre reinforced plastic, also called glass fibre composite or GFRP) is a composite material used where traditional materials are affected by corrosion, moisture, salt, chemicals or electrical installations.
The low weight of the material simplifies transport and installation, while its high resistance to corrosion limits the need for painting, galvanising and rust protection treatment.
