Thin GRP sheets for floors, walkways and working areas
Dura Tread anti-slip floor sheets are thin, pultruded GRP sheets installed over an existing load-bearing substrate such as steel, concrete, timber or aluminium.
They provide a hard-wearing, consistent anti-slip surface on floors, walkways, ramps and working platforms where the existing substrate is sound but grip is insufficient.
The sheets are non-structural, so the substrate must be stable and in good enough condition before installation. Sheets can be cut to size and fixed mechanically or with an adhesive system suited to the substrate and environment.

The gritted surface improves grip, while the contrasting leading edge makes the change in level easier to see. The product is non-structural and relies on the existing tread being stable and in good enough condition.
Covers can be cut to the width of the stairway and fixed with mechanical fixings or a suitable adhesive system. The method should be matched to the substrate, traffic and environment.

Dura Tread stair nosings are fitted to the leading edge of existing stair treads and combine a gritted anti-slip surface with clear contrast marking.
They suit stairways where the rest of the tread is in good condition but the leading edge needs improved grip, better visibility or protection against further wear.
Nosings can be used on concrete, timber, chequer plate and GRP grating. The product is non-structural and must be fitted to a stable, properly prepared surface.
Clearer leading edge
Yellow or white contrast colour makes the start and end of each step easier to see.
Localised grip
The gritted surface improves grip where the foot is normally placed when ascending or descending.

Several Dura Composites anti-slip products have been tested to BS 7976. For the products covered by that testing, results show only a five per cent reduction in slip resistance after one million footsteps.
