d2 GRP Rectangular — grating for cable and duct trenches
d² GRP Rectangular is engineered for narrow cable/duct and floor trenches where high load-bearing capacity is required over short spans. The grating meets load class B125 to EN 124, withstands a test load of 125 kN and can be used over a clear span of up to 630 mm. Stated values must be verified against current load tables and project conditions.
The rectangular mesh provides a larger open area than traditional square-mesh grating. This improves both light transmission and drainage, making the product particularly suitable as a cover over cable trenches, duct runs and installation channels in energy, industrial and technical infrastructure applications.
The grating provides safe, durable protection for power and communication cables as well as gas, water and chemical pipework. Its high load-bearing capacity makes it suitable for pedestrian traffic and areas where lighter vehicles may occasionally pass.
The panels have chamfered edges that simplify fitting, lifting and removal. If required, they can also be cut on site to fit the trench dimensions precisely.
