d2 GRP Solid Top — grating for platforms and footbridges
d2 Dura Grating Solid Top is a strong, anti-slip GRP grating with a fully solid top surface. The design prevents light, water, tools and debris passing through the grating, creating a safe walkway on platforms, walkways and footbridges. The product carries a Class B fire rating and comes with a 25-year warranty.
d2 Dura Grating Solid Top is designed for environments requiring a solid, secure walkway where light transmission, drainage or visibility beneath the grating is undesirable. The solid top surface prevents tools, objects and debris falling through while providing a stable and comfortable surface to walk and work on.
The solid construction creates a greater sense of security for people on high platforms, footbridges and other elevated structures. It can also reduce discomfort for those affected by height or visibility through the floor surface.
The sanded top surface provides effective anti-slip performance in both dry and wet conditions. Testing to BS 7976 shows the anti-slip performance reduces by only five percent after one million footsteps. The product also carries a Class B fire rating to EN 13501.
The grating is available in heights of 29, 41 and 53 mm. Its high load-bearing capacity allows large spans to be bridged, while its low weight simplifies transport, handling and installation. Load capacity and span must be verified against technical data for the selected height and load.
The material is corrosion-resistant, electrically insulating and non-magnetic. This makes the product well suited to industry, energy, marine environments, cable and duct routes, footbridges and other demanding applications where safety, long service life and low maintenance matter.
